Northallerton Leisure Centre Sports Hall Essential Works Due to essential maintenance, availability in the sports hall will be limited to one side of the hall between Monday 12 February and Tuesday 5 March 2024. Scaffolding will be in the reception area and sports hall, but don’t worry – the gym, pool, studios and Wellbeing Suite are open as normal. Some rerouting for access to spaces/activities will be necessary – please follow directional signage in centre.

INCLUSIVE SPORTS ACTIVITIES

STRONG AND STEADY SESSIONS

Strong and Steady sessions have started at Stokesley Leisure Centre. Sessions are 45 minutes long and are suitable for people with mobility issues, aged 65 years and above, who can walk short distances. The sessions aim to improve the strength, balance and walking capabilities of participants and supports those who are unsteady on their feet.

These new sessions take place at the times shown below. Booking is essential and places are booked by contacting the numbers listed.

  • Tuesdays at 10:15am at Stokesley Leisure Centre (01642 711140)

Each of the sessions are charged at a trial price of £4 per person

Group fitness guidance

  • Fitness classes will be for a maximum of 45 minutes and are bookable and payable in advance via telephone, the Zest app or online here.
  • Sessions can be cancelled online and via the Zest app up to 2 hours before the class commences.
  • Arrive to your booked activity early and register your attendance. There are often waiting lists for spaces, your place will be offered to someone else after 10 minutes following the start of the booked activity. After this time late arrivals will not be permitted.
