Adult swimming lessons

It’s never too late to learn!

Learning to swim is a valuable life skill, our lessons are suitable for complete beginners to those wanting to improve technique.

Adult Learn to Swim Awards  

Be Water Confident – this award is about gaining confidence. It covers the ability to move around the pool with confidence and to achieve basic core aquatic skills. These are entries, exits, buoyancy and aquatic breathing.

Be a Swimmer – by the time you earn this award you will have the necessary skills to start swimming independently over short distances

Be a Better Swimmer – by the time you earn this award you’ll be able to swim up to 400 metres.

Prices

All prices based on a 45-minute session.

As we run a programme of continuous assessment, pupils can join at any point during the year, simply contact reception at the relevant leisure centre to check availability.

If a place cannot be found immediately, names can be placed on the Learn to Swim interest list and contact will be made as soon as a place is available.
